Her work draws influence from various places but primarily from her Kurdish roots.
Her most recent project, 'Soft Armour,' combines elements of traditional Kurdish menswear with modern-day minimalism by embracing the rounded nature of cultural dress and embodying this through cocoon-like silhouettes.
